How To Practice
★ Precision
Focus on playing slowly and precisely.
★★ Endurance
Repeat multiple times to develop muscle memory and build endurance.
★★★ Speed
Practice with a metronome, gradually increasing the tempo.
★★★★ Dynamics
Use dynamics to create contrast.
★★★★★ Application
Apply to the drum kit in a musical setting.
How Much To practice
Practice ten minutes a day, multiplied by your level.
Entry Level and Level 1 = 10 minutes a day.
Level 2 = 20 minutes a day
Level 3 = 30 minutes a day etc.
Thirty minutes a day is ideal. This will give you enough time to work on the material given to you in your lesson.
You will see more benefit from short, regular practice sessions, rather than one big session each week.
