Learning Outcomes

  • Demonstrate correct hand position, fulcrum placement, and wrist/forearm motion for German, French,and Traditional grips, and explain when each grip is most effective.

  • Execute single-stroke, double-stroke, and buzz (pressed) roll techniques cleanly across both hands at arange of tempos, maintaining consistent stroke height and rebound control.

  • Maintain accurate tempo and subdivision while performing rolls (single, double, buzz) with a metronome at 80 bpm, 120 bpm and 160 bpm, without loss of evenness or dynamic control.
